So how does it work? Our goal is to make it so simple that you don’t need to know. But in case you are interested, it combines technologies such as GPS and wireless location, voice transcription, geocoding, reverse geocoding, and SMS, with a central database server. It communicates in real time, using the Internet.
Look as you listen. Walk freely while on vacation and learn at your own pace. Each downloaded audio tour comes with multiple mp3 files and a map for each city or tourist destination. Maps are numbered with stopping points that correspond to each audio track. Many free downloads are available.
Woices is a FREE internet service that allows people to create, share and consume echoes, audio records which are linked to a very specific geographical location or real world object. Woices ultimate goal is to extend reality by creating a new layer of audio information, what we call the echoesphere, that will make the world a more interesting place.
